I’m raising money for Ovacome, who support people living with ovarian cancer and their loved ones. This cause means a lot to me and I hope that you’ll consider supporting their work in any way that you can.
A good friend of mine Martine, died from Ovarian Cancer in November last year. Myself and other friends were lucky enough to create lots of memories and lots of laughter after her diagnosis. Adding to the many memories from all the years of knowing her.
I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in June 2023 and since then Ovacome have provided me with so much fantastic support and information. I have met new friends and been able to gain so much from this fantastic charity's work as I continue with my treatment and move forward with living life. I would love to use my upcoming birthday plus my participation in 'Walk with Us' during Gynae Cancer Awareness month in September as a way to celebrate life and fundraise for Ovacome.
There are about 7,500 new cases of ovarian cancer each year in the UK. It is known as the silent killer and is often only caught at the later stages of the disease.
I’m raising money for Ovacome to help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.
In memory of Marian Harding who fought this awful disease for nearly 8 years.
In the April of this year I lost my aunty to cancer. In honour of her, I will be running the half marathon in Belfast on 22nd September to raise money for OVACOM, a charity which supports people battling with ovarian cancer and helped her greatly. To be honest I am not a runner (I hate it and am very bad at it pls see pics for evidence) but thought this would be a great way to raise some funds for this fantastic charity. Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated !
My beautiful wife Nalini took her last breath on 3rd April 2023 after losing a tough battle with Ovarian Cancer. We were all devastated. Nalini was not just a perfect human being, but she was a selfless, strong, talented, and incredible woman - a good mother, wife and daughter. She was the cornerstone of the family and although its been a year, we are still trying to come to terms with the massive hole that has been left in our lives.
I am fundraising for Ovacome, a charity that means so much to me and my family as we lost my godmother Debbie to ovarian cancer. To honour her memory and support others affected, I am running the 2025 London Marathon to raise money. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated in our fight against ovarian cancer.
My amazing family has supported me over the last eight months as I underwent cancer treatment. They are now taking on a 100 mile bike ride to raise funds for Ovacome, the ovarian cancer charity. They tell me that they will do their best to hold onto the bike handlebars and not fall off, but any support for their adventure would be amazing!
To raise awareness of ovarian cancer and in memory of my mam, Madeleine.
Running in memory of my lovely grandma, to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and to support the great work of Ovacome.
